Here’s The Problem With Being In The Right Place At The Right Time

Do you believe in being in the right place at the right time? Is there such a thing?
I mean you always hear about people who seem to have a horseshoe stuck up their butt. They always seem to come out on top, they always have great ‘luck’, they’re happy-go-lucky and full of optimism.
You ever notice these people? But how can it be possible that their in the right place at the right time?
It’s actually very simple. Let me boil it down to one word for you. It’s called AWARENESS! Uh-oh – is Frank gonna get all kooky on me now? No-No! Hold up and hear me out for a second.
What if you were in a terrible place in your mind – say you just lost your job, or your home went into foreclosure, and you were thinking ‘bad thoughts’. You just looked out at the lens of life and saw ‘doom and gloom’. Not so hard to imagine – all you have to do is turn on the TV (which I don’t recommend by the way) – stay away from polluting your mind with garbage – but that’s another blog post altogether.
I digress – so people who are in this ‘grey state’ in their minds are not aware of opportunities that could be sitting right underneath their nose. And it’s not their fault either. It’s kinda like having the radio on with the TV in the background, and the phone rings but the kids are screaming and right then the pizza delivery guy rings the doorbell.
Where does your attention go…? Huh? Well – where do you focus on first? Probably no where, and do you know what a confused mind does?
Absolutely NOTHING!
So there could be a perfectly beautiful opportunity staring you smack-dab right between your eyes and because you’re not aware of it, you just are in no position to take advantage of it.
So what do those people (who seem to have all the ‘luck’ in the world) do differently that those who are always ‘down on their luck’? Simple! They’re AWARE that their in the right place at the right time, and so they seize opportunities, they make things happen, and their optimistic about life because they know that just around the corner – something good is gonna happen.
One of the people who absolutely explains this concept the best is one of my all-time favorite speakers, authors, and motivators…the brilliant Bob Proctor. I’d highly recommend picking up his book: ‘You Were Born Rich” and any and all of his CD programs – I have most of them and they are awesome.
