You know people always say: “Oh, I’d love to win the lottery!” There are so many things I would do, buy, and have…
HOWEVER…
When you talk to them about their lives…it’s all hum-drum boring. How was your day? Ah not bad, my back hurts, my feet hurt, I worked too hard, I gotta clean up the house this weekend and fix the toilet – those darn kids plugged it up again. My job’s getting me down, the bills are piling up, gotta make ends meet….blah, blah, blah!
C’mon…where’s there excitement, where did the dreams go? Remember being a kid…you’d talk about all the great things you wanted to do and be, like superheros, and rock stars, and actors, and superstar athletes…but where does it all go?
Where….????
When I was a kid – I ALWAYS wanted to have a fast car, and my favorite was and still is the masterpiece of them all – The Ferrari. I mean pull any kid aside and ask them – of all the cars in the world – what would you choose?
Ever hear any kid say: “Hmmm, honestly? I’d have to say the Honda Minivan…” – NOPE! NEVER!
When you exercise those dream muscles, something happens. Something like a surge of energy and passion that you CAN do, be and have the finer things in life. Keep exercising, keep exercising….but then take some action TOWARDS those dreams too.
Since, well…Ferrari’s don’t just happen to drop from the sky all because you were thinking about them all day, now do they?
